    goal of my life

    this week has been unexpectedly productive:)
    figured out the goal of my life
    my dream job
     
    something i would like to do for ever.
     
    A COMMUNITY MANAGER
     
    The Community Manager oversees a variety of fan communities – including social networks, blogs, band websites, and E-teams – for a diverse roster of artists. The community manager is responsible for setting, maintaining, and achieving specific and actionable goals, including revenue, traffic, and engagement. You are the eyes and ears of the artist and the company in and among the fans: you know how they think, how they act, and more importantly you are able to measure and analyze these patterns. You must have a firm grasp of fan motivation, marketing, and the nuances of the music industry in the digital age.

    The Community manger works with a talented team of new media experts, and therefore communication skills are an absolute necessity. An ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, but is able to take initiative and get jobs done quickly and efficiently. The community manager is an integral part of determining the strategies, tools, goals, and objectives in the success of an Artist career.

    Responsibilities include:
    - Maintain and run artist websites and social networks with updates and e-mail blasts. Will also be involved in the development of artist websites, including wireframing, user experience design, and feature requisition.
    - Determine and Achieve specific goals for community including revenue, traffic, and engagement.
    - Work closely with the new media department and marketing department to execute marketing and grassroots campaigns
    - Update weekly community activity and demographic reports.
    - Heavy research of artist communities and word-of-mouth analysis (Reading and analyzing message boards, blogs, other artist sites, etc.)
    - Internet research of new artist communities and trends.
    - Contribute to the design and creation of artist digital assets.

    Qualifications
    - Expert user on a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.
    - Strong HTML/CSS knowledge
    - Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel
    - Strong Photoshop and graphic design skills
    - Good organizational and follow through skills
    - Attention to detail and deadlines
    - Self starter and a problem solver a must
    - Marketing knowledge a major plus
    - Some music industry experience a plus; a passion for music is an absolute necessity.
     
    and one for WB's will be working at BURBANK, CALI.
    isn't that ASHMAZING????
     
    so, that'll be the goal for my tween years
    and then i'll find another way to find my first bucket of gold.
